Paul,

Yes, it looks a bit like a whiskey shot glass coming at you.

My picture posting skills are lacking. I have a Miha mold for my 480 Blackhawk. The HP on it is huge. He shot a hog with it a while back, it expanded to right at 1" and only lost a few grains. It did not exit, but on the off side it had knocked the hide loose and left a stretched pocket of hide as big as your hand.
I forget what alloy mix they had but it was pretty tuff yet malable as well.

Actually would be quite useful for slaying the legendary Bopotamus, a close relative of the Camo and the Nauga. There used to be an annual hunt around Star Hill, La, close to St. Francisville, sponsored by Murphy Dreher, the Mayor of Star Hill. Not aware that anyone ever actually got one, they are awfully hard to see. Was always a big function, large crowds, lots of beer and bbq consumed. The beer might have been the reason a few people managed to see one. GW

No point hunting Nauga these days, the pelts are worthless. Sorta sad that they went out of fashion, I remember them well from my youth.

I think they are turning the nauga's hides inside out now and using them for inner liners on the cars with air conditioned and heated seats.

We used to hunt them from a well concealed blind along the river. Yep, we had a Nauga hide.

In Texas the Naugas are so big that their hide makes a continuous roll about 100' long and 60" wide. They even make patch kits for the bullet holes, stuff smells like old inner tubes, though.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, everything is bigger in Texas.

Ever hear about the Texan's funeral? They gave him an enema and buried him in a shoe box.

3 of those would re-cover our runway at the airport.
someone might use it if they were to know about something cool like that.

4" of fresh snow at one of the Tahoe ski resorts Thursday . Only low 80s all last week . The cooler actually shut off a couple of times this week .

It's for certain that Halloween will be white or sweaty this yr .

Faux's are all the rage here .
