311359 nose dive

Finally getting around to shooting cast in my new 300bo..i picked up a single cav mold for the 359,that was all rust and half wore out.i lapped it with clover compound,,and it still looks like hell,but....i shot some really nice groups today with it,but i have to single load them, because the bolt dont pick them up,from the mag.
I have a theory that this oal is so short, that when the bolt hits rim,it nose dives, and allows the bolt to miss the rim.
Ive loaded them as long as i can,,about .050-.060 behind the crimp groove, but this barrel has a wicked tight throat.
I use a dura mag steel 10 round mag.
Is there a mag made that would allow the case to sit a little higher?or some mod i could do,so the nose wouldnt dive?
Thanks

I use Lancer dedicated 300 BLK magazines. They have an anti tilt follower and the front ribs are lower so full body cast doesn’t bind in the stack.

Does your bolt lock back after the shot? Make sure you aren’t short stroking before you buy hardware.

Does the lower (assume AR15) have M4 ramp cutouts? Most don't. I had to Dremel a couple lowers. Anything with a bluntish nose will hit. Also watch for rnd sliding forward from movement of the rnd above it. I've also had to mess with mag lips to get feeding right. Mostly Lancer BO mags work fine. Yours should have non-tilt followers already. As noted above, over-run (short stroke) will slide the rnd forward to the front of the mag. I had a mag for Henry that had the back of the mag not flat - wouldn't chamber a rnd. Flattened it and all is fine. Mags aren't cheap but can cause lots of problems. Plus if cast loads are lighter than jacketed, the gas may not be correct. Manual cycle the bolt and look for the problem.

These loads wouldnt lock the bolt,so they are under powered.
I ran the 155lee today, and the 312180 lee,,and they both ran perfect, its just the little pointed 359 rascal, that wont behave.
