If so what was your results?.
I m having pretty good luck with the 86 gr Loverin by Lyman. Some powder coated some just lubed. Lol tried a few with no gas check. No idea where they went.. Appreciate any replies..

Not with cast, but my .243 M-70 loves Nosler 55 grain Ballistic Tips. Clover leafs at 100 yards, and not off a bench. Just seated with a tripod for a front rest.

I have used the Old Sierra 60 Gr Hp In 1986, At just under my dream goal speed off 4000fps! at 200 yards in 1986 I shot 2 targets of 5 shots each 2 of the groups were between .5" and 1" My best targets I ever shot in my life with My Ruger 77 Varmint! Or any rifle!
After that I chased those targets to the point of totally burning out my throat In that rifle! I finally got 100 fps shy of the 4000 mark! But paid dearly for it. Did not use that rifle again until 2012 when I started shooting fat .246-7" cast bullets in it and it came back to life!

Tried these little bullets to with wst powder at 50 yards. They shot pretty decent only about 4 inches low. These were tumble lubed with gas checks.
