8 mm Lee Karbiner

I have a single cavity Lee , 8 mm , Karbiner mould.
Using it in my 8X57 mm Scout rifle, the mould being a single cav. isn't a hardship in any way for me.

The mould throws a 230 gr. bullet at .327" with a nice large meplat on the end of the nose.
A real killer on white-tail deer.

i'll have to look into that.
it might work with my Lebel rifle.
which I should measure, since I know they have the big bores too.
the last LEE 8mm mold I had was one of the large ones [for the 8X56?] and I needed a smaller diameter for my tight dimensioned rem 700.
I ended up using an 'oversized' mold for the 32 Winchester.
but that looks like it would be just about right for the Lebel.

Worked well in a 8x58 Rem./Danish roller I had. Accurate enough to be confident for a neck shot on a white tail and it may still be going for all I know.

In a 98' Mauser it will often times give feeding problems from the mag. box.
I use a " single shot follower " and it feeds smooth as silk.
