The Aliant sight shows it looking like Unique in 9mm but more like Red Dot in 45 Colts , S&W and 38/357 being about the same loads .
No experience with it and I probably won't .....
Paul, I think for using AS in the 9mm that you pick the flakes up with tweezers, count them, and stack them in the brass like Pringles. That is, unless Alliant has significantly downsized the flakes.
it generally falls in-between red and green-dot in the real world.
3.5grs of the AS should be a pretty decent cast bullet 9mm area.
Ben has some outstanding rifle loads using A.S. BTW.
I have a couple of jugs of it here as a back up in case I get behind in the red/green powders.
fiver is right on there! I shoot a lot of AS in my light rifle loads with plain base ( Ben got me hooked on it)
If I find a load posted for Green Dot I know about .5 gr less of AS will be very close
