I want a flyweight ,but, I have a good Bator 50 and a 62 gr 225-55 . I was thinking that little 37 or the 45 gr HP ........ Then I had them both in the basket .........
Really !!!! There is metal savings but ,will I really appreciate the 189 vs 178 vs 140 per lb of alloy ....... Of course I would , and I wanted them and they are on sale ......... I have to behave . I even passed on a RD 458-350 6C with 460 sizer 1500 checks a 3 die set plus FCD for 45-70 at $150 shipped ......... It's weird actually .......

The little 37's are fun in both pb and checked versions. The 37 at sub sonic
at 50 yds, is very accurate in hornets, and 222's. The GC version I have run up
to 2250 or so, and found them very accurate to 100.

The temptation just became too much .........
I'm weak .......
KHornet you pushed me over the edge ...... The 222 will thank you I'm sure .

Saw the sale and I haven't got any 22 cal molds ..any suggestions for my 223 with a 1/9...I single load my AR so I don't need it to function the action...
I have been toying with picking up a Remington with a 1/12..so do I need two molds..(say yes)...Dan

I have a 80's vintage 340C in 222 that is right at the edge with the 225-55 , actually 62 and longer than the RCBS , it's great in the 1-8 223s , the 70gr bullets would be good to go for sure . The 50gr and less moulds should be gold in the 12 twist .

I broke down and ordered another 22 mold, (like I need another---yah).
Got a 57 grainer for 223. To heavy IMO for Hornet, bee, and 222 1-14.

Yes I do . I only have one 45-70 and 5 moulds a set and a half of dies . Meanwhile I have 4 sets and a dozen moulds for 45 Colts Schofield and ACP , good grief the 35/38/357 .......

I caved in , I bought 37 gr 22 and threw in another 30 cal .

I find that I have become addicted to Al's molds, particularly when
they are on sale. Have a real hard time passing up a sale.

Well this time NOE has most of his 360 dia. molds on sale. I just saw it yesterday.
There goes what little I have saved for the 45/70

That is like asking an alcoholic if he'd like to have a drink.

I think Al is working over the members here! I just got the 360-160-WFN Rg4 Pb in the mail yesterday. It's suppose to cast at 137 grs in Hp version. Hoping it will shoot as well in my Smiths as the 180 does in my Marlin 1894.

Yesterday Al had a one day $1000.00 club sale ..now it's just 20% of everything for a week ....:)..he sure knows how to empty your wallet..
I got two (not really necessary) molds yesterday and am looking at other accessories today....

Wonder why he's not selling alloy...got to have something to feed all these molds..o_O

I told myself I am done buying molds.
with that said, I ordered a 41 cal RF 5 cav NOE mold yesterday

Also, I'd been trying to sell a NOE 225-45 WFN mold for a while, I wound up trading it for 3 other molds instead, they just arrived a few days ago.
It's just gotta stop sooner or later, right?

I must be doing something wrong. I buy few moulds. Three a year is a bunch. Some years I buy none.
