Bed Bath Beyond wire mesh baskets

Just a heads up. This store is not doing well in the new economy. They are closing all but 1 store here in Iowa. I was there this weekend to pick up a few new baskets. They had 4 of them and were 40%off clearance. I got the last 4 that would fit my toaster oven. I should be good for a long time. CW got me onto using these for powder coat. I am liking these over the silicone mats. I am going to pitch all the mats I have left. Too much color transfer from one color to another.

So if you use these it might be a good idea to check your area store for them. Otherwise it will be ordering them from the Jungle site or ebay for more $$$

I use thrm for many parts of the PC process. They can be blasted and used as brand new when they get coated up too much.

They come powdercoated. When basket baking the excess powder can accumulate. When it does its hard ta remove. Sand blasting got it pretty clean with aggregate I had.

Today, If basket bake, I use parchment in the bottom of a clean basket.

Baskets are (where) offered in many sizes. Buy to fit your ovens.

They are called drawer organizers.

If you want something from Bed, Bath & Beyond, you may want to get it now….

From a Business Insider article 1/5/23:

“…..In June 2022, it [Bed Bath & Beyond] reported a $358 million net loss in its first quarter, and subsequently announced it was replacing CEO Mark Tritton and a number of other executives in yet another attempt to reorganize its leadership.

…..Then, in September 2022, the company's CFO Gustavo Arnal was discovered dead after a fall from a New York City building. The CFO had been the subject of a lawsuit around insider trading.

…..In September 2022, Bed Bath & Beyond announced it would be closing 150 stores and slashing 20% of its corporate positions in an effort to cut costs.

…..For the quarter ending November 26, 2022, the company is expecting a loss of roughly $386 million, and a dip in quarterly sales of $600 million, compared to a year earlier.

…..The company said in an SEC filing Thursday (January 2023) that it has "substantial doubt" it can continue operating and is considering filing for bankruptcy.”

I think we have one of those here, I'll have to mention it to the wife and head up there. I am not into PCing yet, but I have most of the stuff. I may very well need a good mesh basket or two. Thanks for the heads up.

I actually have everything to PC. But the powder I have is from an unknown source. It came out of one of the swap boxes over on the other site. I been figuring it'd be better for me to get a known powder to use when learning so that I have success and know what its supposed to look like. I do have some bullets that drop undersized about .001, that I been really wanting to try too.

Not surprised.

I ordered some of the baskets a year ago, never showed up, called them, customer service rep said the would re-process the order. Contested the CC charge due no receipt of the merchandise. BB&B told the CC not their fault, they shipped them, never mind the tracking info shows the were returned to BB&B by the P.O. Took 3 months to resolve.

Meanwhile I re-ordered the baskets myself rather than wait for BB&B to re-send just to which would be quicker. Never did see squat on the reprocessed order. My new order still took 2 weeks. Thought to myself back then, BB&B had some very serious issues.
