Best 22 Ever

While buying parts from the guy with all the vintage Colt stuff, I bought a complete 1974 Gold Cup frame with all internals. I hunted up a same vintage Colt 22 Conversion Unit and did the marriage into a faux Colt Ace. I have used these conversion units before with good results. They will foul up in a couple of hundred rounds, but keep the floating chamber gizmo greased and it will go all day without stoppage.

Love 1911s. Have fired an Ac a few times, but never owned one. I have a Marvel Upper that is a wonderful thing, too.
