The last couple of range trips, I have tried Norma 200 in the .30-06. The burning speed is in 4198- territory, Short grains, extruded powder with moderate nitroglycerin content. Not the appropriate powder, perhaps, for warp-speed loads. But 24-26 grs have given very consistent results, with bullet weights ranging from 150-220grs. 5- shot accuracy around 1,1 MOA at 100m, shot from prone with support on a bag. A bench would have been better, of course. Absolutely clean case necks. No powder-positioning-yoga, or advanced reloading techniques.
Below is a typical group, shot with NOE311-166 RD-clone, this was the first couple of groups I shot with this bullet. It sure cuts some clean holes! When loaded to max COL, it still has its feet in the fire, but seems to work OK (As does the NOE 311-221, where the base is also in the boiler room).
