Cylinder throat reamer

Brad a reamer chucked in a drill press that the table has been indicated to be square to the
quill, with the cyl in a quality V block in a free floating mill vise so is straight up, and it can self center
(float on oiled drill press table) as you feed it in from the front of the cyl works great. I would suggest
reaming one or two holes in a piece of steel with a new reamer to keep from being a bit oversized
from burrs. First few holes cleans off the burrs, gets to real diameter. Ream at least 0.0005 under where
you want to be, then polish the last bit. Reamers leave a bit rougher surface than I want for a
throat.

You should have lower taxes this coming year.

How about Clymer cylinder accurizer, has anyone used it? On the Clymer site it doesn’t give a finish size (or any size at all ) as a matter of fact that I saw, but it does look like you don’t need extra bushings. That may be good or bad.
I do need to do my Ruger but up till now I’ve just been chicken.
