Enough room in the magazine for your cast bullet.

I just hate it when you buy a rifle only to find out that the mag. box isn't long enough for your favorite cast bullet ! !

I don't think I'll have a problem with my T/C Venture , 30-06 rifle.
Here the 311299 is seated to the correct OAL.
Room to spare.

You talk about slick , smooth feeding from the mag. box.
This single stack is the way to go ! !

Bill,

This one has the " 5R " rifling.
I'm hoping for big things from this rifle.

I thought it was supposed to take 1 bullet to fill a deer tag. Where are those dang smiley-face thingies when you need them.

Oh, that is interesting (the rifling). It will be interesting to see how that is
actually different from old fashioned rifling. I always start off a touch skeptical,
but it kinda sounds like it should be better in some ways. Old fart trying to keep
an open mind.

Me too! Sadly that is the issue with g'pas 270 760. Paper patch might make it shoot again but they will not be fitting or feeding from a mag. Annoying.

That's a nice looking rifle.

Bill,

I was a bit skeptical also.
However, all I've read of late is very positive on the " 5R" rifling .
One thing for certain..........T/C offers a written guarantee .
If the rifle won't place 3 rounds of premium ammo inside an inch at 100 yards, you get a new rifle.

They must have a lot of faith in the barrel ( and bedding system of the rifle ).
