After about 3 months of planning last Fri eve we tricked my mother into her surprise 75th birthday party. Somewhere around 60 people from as far away as both coasts showed up. She was darn near floored, Insta tears.

Was a great time, got to see friends/ family I hadn't in years. I would have had no hope to pull it off, but for the help of my spectacular wife.

Poor Ma bought it hook, line, & sinker. She'll probably not trust us for some time, but we got her.

I'll bet your mother thinks she's one very lucky Mom.

Wow, you sure got a lot of spare bedrooms.

The gift of showing her how important she is and all that the work of her life has produced is the best gift a mother could ever have.

We tried that this week for Mom's 98th. Bro drove in from Tuscon. We were going to have a small party. She had a fall Monday and tore a muscle in the hip. Met at the hospital today. Nothing the Docs can do but give her Morphine and some attempts at rehab. She is NOT a happy camper. She actually knows some 'bad' words. Enjoy them while they are here.
