Grandson slaying more slabs

Went and got 5 year old Riley this past Thursday evening. Took him and my 78 year old dad on a few trips as work allowed. Soaking up every minute I can get with my little buddy. Kindergarten next year will mess up the fun! Maybe I can get him to play hooky some during the spawn. Pretty neat to fish with the both of them. I got him a new spinning rod after he landed the monster slab a week or so back.
Took him about 15 minutes to figure out how to cast it. Can only stay out a few hours when we go as he is so fair skinned that the Sun gets him even with sunblock on.
The boy is RUINED!!!!!
