Handleitgrips on my XDm-Elite 10MM!

Hi,
Thought I would try one of these on my 10mm.

I like checkering or stippling on my auto pistols, but...

Did not want to do that on this one.

I admittedly shortened the bottom for the Magwell, and...

Rounded any corners that had sharp points for better longevity.

Heated the Grips after install to flatten better, and...

Really like the results, better material than regular Skateboard Tape, and...

Has cuts where needed for any low spots.

Another good thing is they come off easy when needed and clean up with some cleaner and back to new.

Get sticky in hot weather? Only 'squishy' grips I have is for Sig 938. Otherwise it 'bites' bad. My stock XDm grip is fine.

I like more aggressive checkering or stippling or sandpaper grips. Never had issue carrying such either. ( Not bothered by wool clothing or fiberglass insulation either.. Yes I know...)

When I first saw the aggressive G10 styled 1911 grips I bought 3-4 sets ta try!!

So I like that!!

Hi,
I have done some single point stippling on Tupperware Pistols before.

It is very low key but gives a grip like mild sandpaper.

Might do that eventually to the XDm-45 but...

Thought I would try the stick ons to educate myself!

A lot of different opinions out there!

This is NOT my Pistol, and NOT my work, but...

Shows the small point stippling I speak of!

Both forms of stippling shown here would get a YES vote from me. Any texture or tactile surface that enhances grip integrity & retention is an upgrade in my world.

Shortly after I bought my Glock 27, but before I got my carry license, I installed the Talon sandpaper grips and liked the feel of it and worked great at the range. However, when I got licensed the stuff would stick to my shirt so removed it. I handled a gun with Talon's rubberized grips but think it wouldn't be any less shirt stickable.

I do like the concept, though.

Hi,
Wow, nobody likes stick on Grips on their Tupperware I guess?

Well, was so impressed by my XDm-Elite 10mm, started looking for a used XD-45 and found a nice XDm!

Wanted to try the Sandpaper Grip from Handleitgrips, so just installed those on the .45...

Seemed not to lay down as easy as the rubber on the Elite, but is fine.

I have a HK P2000sk, for concealed carry, so this will be truck gun or night stand, so no problem with clothing abrasion.
