maybe, i have one or two of their molds and they have worked flawlessly.
like open and shake, T/L load without a size die flawless...... luck of the draw?
The 458-201 Rapine .458-255 RNFP casts well and easy. It's definitely not a Lee but it's not a Mountain, NOE , or NEI either . I don't know what they cost new but my experience of that one is that the 2C would have been a good buy somewhere between an Lee 6 and a NOE 2C .

I don't remember clearly but it seems like they were struggling with trying to keep up production in some awkward place where Cowboy Action , their primary market , growth went flat and demand from other markets . They didn't make the change to CNC and found the costs killed them . At the end they just ran out all of mould parts , sent shares to their vendors , cashed the checks , and locked the doors .

they definitely used good aluminum.
i remember their ads in the gun rags back in the 90's, but never paid a lot of attention to them.
i just kind of happened onto the molds in one of those hey that looks like it'll fit that rifle and it's cheap deals... oh he wants to sell them both,, what the hell.
