if you could visit, and really see the operation, at ONE firearm related business what would it be?

I know mine but would like to see what others say. Might just change my mind?

That's a tough one. Miroku comes to mind, but for most of my adult life I've done extreme precision fit & finish by hand so, that's more where my interests lie.

The other two that I wouldn't mind having a peek at, are, the Smith & Wesson Custom/Precision Shop and maybe, Turnbull Restoration.

I might also change my mind.

Are our choices limited to the present time? Cuz I'd like to visit the Colt factory in the late 1800s, or the H & G mold shop during it's heyday.

Never thought of Turnbull.
The late 1800's Colt factory would easily be on a top 5 list.

I was thinking closer to the H&G shop in their prime.

What about something smaller, more detailed. Maybe Accurate Moulds? Seeing how Tom makes those wonderful moulds.

I would like to tour the tool & die shop for one of the big jacketed bullet makers..... Talk to one of the old timers and absorb what he had to say!

I take it back. I'd like to got to Lyman's mould making facility and confirm my suspicions.

Modern, I'd love to go through the joint they make the 308 mini guns in. At 4k rnds per min for testing they must give out 1xf 308 brass like candy at halloween, or maybe I could talk them out of a barrel cheap.

Of old, I'd pick the colt, henry, Shiloh, springfield, factories at certain points. Or maybe one of the non gun factories that made guns for our war efforts.

Only one is a most difficult decision. After I’d seen one I’d like to see and talk to the others.

Browning, Mauser, Borchardt, Luger, Garand, Just to name a few. I love taking them all apart and seeing how they work.

Most of what is on my mind right now is the new and improved Marlin assembly garage.

I’d still like to know why I received five defective barrels on two different rifles. They did do it in nine months though. That’s fairly quick? And, they did give me my money back.

I would just stick my head in the door at the Lee mold quality inspection dept. to see if the staff there uses seeing eye dogs.

Ken Waters loading room/shop. In my mind I picture just about every die set and tool ever made plus all the custom tooling. Endless shelves of brass, powder and supplies. Would have to be something to behold.
