I have 1 with a steel plate . I want to say K-D tools .

I have that mold in a six banger but haven't tried it yet. I was impressed enough with the 125RF version in 9mm and mid range .38 loads that I wanted to try its bigger brother.

I think all my Lee six bangers have anodized Al sprue plates. Wouldn't surprise me to learn that someone might make aftermarket steel sprue plates but I've never seen one.

Its sure enough Aluminum as I was told.

I scrached the edge of the sprue plate with a screwdriver. I was Absolutley Wrong!
