Just a FYI,turrets are a major source of problems WRT moisture entering a scope.Find a silicone "greese" ....it gets right engineer'y on exactly what specs apply here....
Find a greese used for sealing camera lenses'.There are several.Then,put just a small amt on your scopes turret cap threads as a seal.We do the same on spray gun needles....just sayin,BW.

Never had a scope get moisture inside it unless I took it apart or had a bad seal. It would be easy enough to purge your own scope these days w a bottle of nitrogen which a lot of people you know have access to one or a bottle of argon which a lot of your welding buddies have access to. If one was in a predicament of moist scope I'd say get your camera grade grease ready and purge your scope and assemble using grease as necessary
