Leupold VX3i CDS turret caps

A few months ago I bought a new Bergara B-14 rifle in .30-06
I put a Leupold VX3i 4.5x14x40 scope on it. After load development I settled on a 165gr Nosler Accubond bullet using 57gr of IMR 4350 for a muzzle velocity of 2740fps.

I emailed Leupold all of my info and the custom turret cap showed up yesterday. This one was included in the purchase of the scope. Additional caps run $70-$80

Ok, I gotta ask. Is the custom feature just the engraving in the top or is it set up to allow adjustment based on your load?

It's calibrated to my load. I sent them all of my info. Bullet, BC, MV, altitude, temp, etc....
It has a hard zero stop where you see it in the pic. That's set at 100 yards. Want to shoot at 250? click up to 2.5 and so on.
For this load, it's good out to 550 or so on the other end of the dial.

Maybe I'm just jealous, you have all the toys I want.... that's probably what it is,

I would like to see how this scope adjusts for real world aplication. I like the concept just would like to hear a report back on how it functions for you at the range.
