Very sorry to read Rick.

I lost my little girl a year ago November. There is still a hole in my heart. There isnt a day that I dont think on her.

My condolences, Rick. We had a dog, a member of the family as surely as the humans. He lived 18 years and was sick only a day or two at the end, thank goodness. He has been gone about 6 years now and he is missed and fondly remembered as I am sure Tizzy will be.

Very sorry to hear.... I've had many fur babies... and the pleasure of having them around outweigh the pain when we have to let them go. Never gets easier....Rip...

You want to know what the second most gut wrenching soul crushing thing in the world is ? It's when your dog comes in all wiggly from the cold morning air flops down and woozles the air off on the rug .
Then she notices your not looking happy and comes over to cheer you up and stand guard to keep what's making you unhappy at bay not knowing that it's their end coming that's doing it .....

That's why I'll probably never have another dog .

That makes me very sad Rick. She was a fine dog and an amazing companion for you.

Sorry to hear, it's never easy. They love us unconditionally, even when we have bad days. I sometimes wonder that if we were more like them, they would be with us longer. Our younger cat just came up pulling his feather wand across the floor and dropped it at my feet. Guess my training is going well.

I'm really saddened by your loss, Rick. Give it a little time and go find yourself a dog that really needs a great life and take it to it's new home:). It won't be quite the same, but it'll be really, really good. For both of you.

Sorry to hear it, Rick. Worked with dogs most of my life, and it's never an easy choice, even when it's the best thing for them.

Whether or not you're looking right away, I hope when you're ready the right dog finds you.
