We humans way too often imagine we are in charge, when in reality we are absolutely
passengers on this train. Where it goes and what it does, we have no input upon.

I lived through several serious hurricanes as a young man, and learned this lesson well.
Watching tornado and earthquake and fires elsewhere puts a lot more truth in it.

Don't get run over by mother nature, you can't even get a draw. Figure out the best
ways to avoid getting nailed.

As far as the site, yeah, really good folks here. The signal to noise ratio is very good.
