I had said something about this mold a couple days ago. I got it a few years back probably off ebay. I have tried it before but never worked to hard at it....so it was time to pick up the pace with it work out the problems with it.

Gave it a good cleaning & started pouring, after nearly 20 it finally heated up & started making good bullets...then of course the pin pulled out of the hollow point maker thingy ...fixed that restarted...Anyway got enuf to do some testing with my Grandfather's ol Mauser later this summer..

A few years ago, I lucked into a decently sporteried small ring Mauser in 7x57 which I proceeded to shoot the hell out of with cast bullets and killed a deer with it using cast that Fall. For the deer, Iused a Lyman 287308 which had been hollow pointed, worked like a champ. What weight is that bullet? Looks like it would be a hammer onwhite tails.
