Lyman 323471 HP

This one arrived today.
It is an original Lyman 323471 HP for the 8mm Mauser.
I have the 323471 Solid mold, & I thought that the HP mould would be good company for it.
This one is NEW, believe it or not ? ?
Pristine condition.

I wonder how old it is ?
I'm guess early to mid 1950's.
Am I close ? ? ?

I don't know if that is the mould, but there was one 8mm Lyman that had a sharp spire point that was apparently hexed by the gods of casting in plain nosed form, but gave good results when hollow pointed. There were sever 30s like that too. That's the problem with reading so much stuff from the 30's, 40's and 50's- you get over loaded with partial memories that only offer a part of the whole story.
