Thanks for the help everyone. And thanks for the offer JonB, I think for now I'm going to take a gamble on the mold. If it doesnt work out, it will do just fine in my Savage 1899 in 303 savage and my other two 30wcfs. A wonderful old feller on the other site hooked me up with some of the 155ish grain version from one of the original RD mold runs. Those worked very well in my first 30-30 I owned. I have always wanted to buy a little heavier version.

I think my TR94 is a poster child for 1970's Winchester (un)quality. I took my bore scope to it to try and get a better idea of what was going on, and.... oh the horror.
