My Accurate mould that I ordered from Tom arrived this morning. Thanks to Tom for quick shipping on this one.

fiver :

No heavier than the 311284 ? ? ?
Only slightly heavier than the 311299.
( BTW, those are 2 of my favorites )
You won't find too many people willing to criticize those two.
For my uses, I don't see it as excessively heavy.
This fall, I'm hoping to have a nice load worked up for white-tails.

As usual , Tom came as close to near perfection on this one as is humanly possible.

I ask for .3115 " on the drive bands with clip on WW's.
Checked with two different micrometers, Yes, you guessed it .3115"

My nose is .300 and .301 as requested. ( The front 1/2 of the nose is .300", the rear 1/2 closest to the drive bands is .301" )

I'm a happy camper.
What precision ! !
We truly are living in the " hey day " of mould manufacturing.

Brad,

If I can get this rain to stop, that is exactly what I plan to do. We have had a total of 8.5 " in the last 6 days.
This photo was taken yesterday about 5 miles from my home.

Dang, you got it bad. We got 4" last Monday night, almost missed all the fun entirely, but we needed the rain really bad. Now it's 102 and 85% RH, I feel for you over there.

That mould looks fantastic, and looks like Tom really rushed that one through for you. I'm pretty pumped about this, it will certainly answer any questions about how the two designs will shoot.

Some folks don't know the difference between a car and a boat.

My curiosity is about to get the best of me.

Tumble lube or single lube groove, which are you betting on Ian ? ?

Ok, this might surprise you. At your home range and nice, mild shotgun powder loads, I'm operating from the hypothesis that there will be ZERO discernible difference in how they shoot, and the testing will either prove that to be true or false.

40-shot aggregates (4x10 with cooling period in between) and 200 yard testing would really show the difference, as would at least 2200 fps loads at 100 yards. Can you roll your bench back any at home and shoot some 100 yard groups with them?

Be interesting too to see if they shoot the same as pressure and/or velocity increases.
Maybe try around 1400,1700,and 2000 fps? Unique, 2400, and 4895 would do the trick.

One thing we do know, Ben and the rifle won't be the reason for big groups.

This is gonna be interesting to watch.

Brad......

Don't even hint " big groups " at this point in the game.

I don't think your gonna see a whole lot of difference until you get in the 1900 fps area either.
that would also be the eazy zone for smacking down a nice Buck.
