My first band practice

I’ll be going to my very first band practice tomorrow morning. I’ll be playing the guitar and covering a track from a Seattle based band from the mid 90’s called Mad Season. The song I’ll be doing is called River of deceit. There are like 10-12 guys working on this project in hopes of playing a show somewhere around town maybe this spring covering all the songs on the album. They only ever made the one. Here is the song.

My first though was.."one time at band camp"...;)

I do like the song. You have way more talent than me.

Sometimes I feel like I should tone back my hobbies. I get on kicks where one hobby takes over all others. Not really a bad thing in these times when components are in short supply. I just focus on something else I enjoy.
Yep! Volunteering in the museum archives more often and doing research; helping my friends with the chores I can do; joined an anthropology book club; writing two new articles for "The Fouling Shot", lots to do here.

I may have heard that song before...maybe...which would be quite likely, as I still listen to a lot of popular 90s tunes.
BUT, as I listened, I was waiting for a fast section...but there never was one?
so now I think it's just similar to another tune that I like.
