I came because a squirrel told me JWFilips was saying good things about me!?! Cant have too much of that now.

From the Scranton area of PA. Collect mostly WW2 and earlier ecpically pre 1899 stuff, but Ill take anything that catches my fancy. New caster/reloader with only about 5 year doing it. Dont get a lot of time to do it have a 2 year old and a 3 month old to attempt to keep track of.

So hey yall.

Born in Plains, still have family from my father's side, there. Mother was from Wyoming, just across the Susquehanna.

Scranton is a nice area. Had had the pleasure of being there several times. Bought some muzzle loaders way back up in the corner of some valley 30 years ago.

OK: well this guy is My Last 18th C Flintlock apprentice! Unfortunately for me ... A new young one and an new house took him out of pocket ...Now 2 young ones! Well hopefully some day he will return....I have more work then I can get through before my end! Need someone to take over.
But this guy also has some collections for a "young" guy so he is really on the way. Plus he respects us old dudes!
Glad he got over here!

Welcome Brian....JW says you are his apprentice...that's wonderful ..BUT don't believe everything he says..for example ,referring to us as "old dudes"..
we may look that way but we still have a lot of kick in us.....;)..Dan
