I would not be happy with those at all. Not good at all.

Luckily I have never had that.

Man. This is for my 1000 yard .308 loads. I don't think this is gonna work. This sucks...

100 yards, maybe. 1000? Those are gonna suck ass. I would want very uniform flasholes and double punching them isn't the way to get there.

Is Winchester making brass in China?

It's bad for sure ...but Waco think what would happen if someone less experienced than you got them and decided totry some hot rocket loads out of them ....

That is why I think you should let Winchester know just in case there are more then those out there.

A few years ago I bought 5000 WLR primers. They kept blowing out the sides ( right where the 90 deg bend was that formed the cup)
Not bad for me because I was using light cast bullet loads. Did cut into my bolt face however.
I Called Winchester and they were not aware of the problem but promptly replaced the primers and took the others back for inspection.
3 weeks later there was a national recall on that lot number. It came from only one of their facilities.

for shooting paraffin with a primer those would be mostly alright.
I wouldn't even attempt anything precision with those.

Alright. I just filled out the forms describing the problem and sent the above photo along with a pic of the bag and lot#
Let's see if they step up.......

I had some bulk pack 22-250 Win . The rounds got hotter through the box . I think it was about the 12th round that dropped the primer out in the action .
A quick letter netted an orm D sticker and postage .
No defects found ....... But I did get $50 in gift certificates from Win for Winchester products no strings .

I went out the next week with new brass and about half of the load window loads with 3031 and repeated the results ....... Apparently a heavy weight bbl on a 98 action in full sun and 90° doesn't loose heat well ...

The point of this is that they were happy to check out the product on their dime and keep a happy customer .

Ooo-dang. Hope they take care of you on that.

I use lapua for my longer range 308 shooting. Anything loaded specifically for 300+ yds is done a scootch different with better stuff.

I made a few cases look that way with a bent decapping rod. It met a rock & messed up the next couple before I caught it.

Got a call from a Win Rep today. They are Emailing me a shipping label to send the brass back and they will reimbursed me.
I'm happy enough about that.

Like I said, I was happy! They must get a slew of complaints about all sorts of things everyday! I bet it's a full time job just weeding out all the BS complaints!
