Several yrs. ago, I bought an NOE, 5 cavity, .311 dia., 103 grs. SWC.
I got outside today with my 5 cav. , .311 mould ( 50 degrees and bright sun ) and cast about 200 or so....It doesn't take very long with 5 cav. blocks to get 200 nice bullets. I use this bullet for light plinking loads in all my .30 cal. rifles ( it seems to work especially well in my 30-30 T/C Super `14 and my Handi - 30-30 ).

It is one of my favorite bullets in my T/C bull barrel , .32 H & R Mag.

This target is shot with my T/C bull barrel , 32 H&R Mag , 4X scope, with the NOE, 103 gr. 3 rounds, at 25 yards, off of a sand bag front and rear rest. For me, it won't get much better than this !

Dale 53 is a " BIG FAN " of this design.
He is the one that convinced me to buy the mould.

I recently purchased the larger diameter copy of the rcbs bullet. Very accurate in my Lipseys Bisley 32 magnum. Nice going Ben. Good looking bullets!

gman,

I requested a .311 mould from Al at NOE, ( actually throws bullets at .3122 with air cooled WW's ).
My primary goal for the bullet when I purchased it was to use in my T/C Contender 30-30's ( I have a pair of them a 10" and a Super 14 ) and my T/C .32 H&R Mag. , I knew that .311 and .310 bullets would be my best bet. Contenders have tight bores. I didn't think the .314 " would be my friend. Here is a photo of my T/C Contender , 32 H&R mag.

Dale53 was like you and requested the larger dia. mould.

Best,

Understand that. Had to fill .314 cylinder throats. That’s an accurate bullet. What alloy did you use?

Ben's Red is some good stuff.
However, I guess I'm more than a bit prejudiced.

That bullet is a fine shooter in my Ruger 32 H&R. No need to try any others.

My 5 cavity will crank them out ! !
Once you've used a nice 5 cav., the others just don't measure up anymore.

Mine is only a 3 cav, highest number of cav they had at the time. A 5 cav would have been my first choice.
Luckily my Ruger is a single action and that slows the shooting some. My 3 cav keeps up just fine. Now a double action, it would want more.....

Just wondering if anyone has tried that bullet in hollowpoint form. Seems it would be a destructive little bullet on pest.
