NOE 311284 HP

I have not cast with this one in about 7 or 8 yrs.
I thought it was time to get it out this morning and cast some with it.
This bullet has always shot well in about any 30 cal. rifle that I've ever tried it in.
Originally made for the Krag, but also shoots well in other 30 cal. rifles.

The deer down here don't care for this HP bullet at all :

Ben, I assume that you modified that mold to make it produce HP bullets, yes? Do you find that the HP is more accurate than the RN?

I know that HP bullets are preferred for jacketed bullets used for target shooting. Of course they are spitzer and the HP is really more of a teardrop void than what we see in the photo here. But the effect on CG is still the same. So, that's what's driving my question. Can you see a difference in accuracy?

The 311284 has been the best shooting bullet I've found in a few '06s and the Mosin. A hollow pointed one should be a formidable hunting bullet.

Yes, I believe the HP version of this bullet offers a slight edge in accuracy for me .

I have a Lyman version. Its a Dandy. Pretty sure I bought here. I intended it as a 300 BO bullet but as mentioned my 06's and 7.65 LOVE IT!!
