I acquired a used NOE hollow point mold (RG2) this week for a pretty good price. The seller's pictures weren't too clear, so I wasn't sure what I'd get. It arrived and looked real good, and with 3 sets of pins and nose punch. Two sets of HP pins clearly were never used and the other set (largest HP) only had a little color to them, so I suspect this mold has only been test cast, because after my 2 hour casting session this afternoon, the HP pins were quite heat stained, of course I use 2 cycle oil on them, that might speed that up.
.
Using COWW/Pure (50-50) sweetened with 1% pewter, pot at 720º, the mold drops .362" and 167gr with largest HP. I am OK with those numbers.

I just got an MP version of this mold. Have yet to cast with it. My first brass mold in like 10 years. I forget the break in process.

I've got MP, NOE, Accurate, Arsenal, and NEI versions of this mold. All cast excellent, but due to the square lube groove, they can seem a little sticky when dropping bullets. I shoot more of these than any other in 38sp, 357mag, and 357max.
