Plain based another one.

When I ordered my .30 cal., Accurate 210 H , 2 CAV. mould, I was tempted to tell Tom to plain base the T/L cavity. I've been thinking about removing the g/c shank ever since the mould arrived.

Today, I did it ! I removed the g/c shank on the T/L side.

Came out real nice !!!!

Here they are sized .311 with Carnuba Blue . They will also get a thin coat of BLL.

Looks very well done, Ben.

Bet doing that one increased rear pucker factor by 4x or more vs. doing same to a Lee huh?

Ben,
Nice job! I did that to a Lee and was sweating peanut butter the whole time. Did you use several drill sizes progressively or went with one. No matter how you did it, you did good.

The last couple I done, I turned the chuck by hand. Kinda snuck up on it slow....... Bill

Next one I'm doing in the lathe. Even with a .311" chucking reamer the drill press routine and turning by hand is too Bush League for my undermedicated OCD.
