Just bought a brick of Win LR primers at my local Gun Store, for 27.95. The last time I checked primers there (prob 2-3 mo ago) they were $34.95 a thousand for LR Win. Something is going the right way.

Whatever .
It was going the right way .

Everything but #34 and #41 are down under $30/1000 those seem to be staying closer to $40 .

The glut has been on for a while, prices have been dropping a little and all the blowout sales on stuff like AR-15 parts and bulk 5.56 ammo tend to indicate it. Even the .22 LR drought and scalper's pricing is letting up a little.

I hear Remington just laid off 100 workers, I don't know from what division though.

Getting good prices on .223 ammo in bulk lots. .22 LR is getting easy to find, prices getting better.

I managed to find 1K of Fed LG rifle MATCH (!) last Sat at gun club swap day for $30. Haven't even seen
any for sale in about a decade.

federal laid off 200 workers today.
190 from manufacturing and 10 from the office personnel.

their 'promo load' made by Rio is their most popular shot shell.
I'm thinking they might be getting the clue any day now [like as soon as it really hits shelves] that changing their 'premier' product to crap and trying to charge more for it isn't going to work as a business model.

Gun show prices ranged from 28 to 31 a 1000 for CCI SP yesterday, mostly 30-31. Powder does not seem to have gone down.
