I bought the 45 Colts RBH in 2007 and immediately wished it was a convertible...... So goes the passive search . I paid low market for one and it did drop in but was actually too short ratchet to nose bushing . Later I found another for theft pricing at a gun show in Reno and snatched it up .
It was too long but perfect with the bluing removed from the nose .

Up for sale $60 the short one at 1.956" clean , shiny , minimum use marks but obviously used . I'd guess as of now this is about half of new , not theft , and fair . Of course if you have an offer I'm pretty easy .

Trading goods off hand .
I've longed for 130 gr 38/357/9 bullet mould .

No brass really I'm about poor there .

Need a couple of 303 and 30-30 shell holders for partial .

25 cal heavy to full bull take of or blank barrel . Have to be able to get enough out of it for a 256 WM or 25-45 or 25/308(Souper) on a savage 110 .

32 ga screw in choke , extended type preferred , full to X- full .

Savage 110 .473 bolt head .
Axis compatible bottom metal.....

Just wish booking.

Cash , USPS MO , y'all are probably good for personal check .
Shipping negotiable depending on the deal .

I'd have sworn someone here was looking for one not long ago . I couldn't find it so it didn't get offered then .....

Someone is always looking for an extra Ruger cylinder on Singleactions.com if no one here is looking for one.

That's the only other forum I regularly visit these days. Decent folks.

I am tempted. But I haven't shot in so long and foreseeable future doesn't look much better. I'll leave it for someone else who may enjoy it sooner.

Even as much a fan of the 44 Special as I am, if I were starting over, the 45 Colt/45 ACP combo in a SA is the way I'd go and what I recommend to others looking to get into a big-bore SA.

There is someone out there who wants/needs that cylinder and the price is probably just about right - for twenty years ago.

There's always evilbay too, but good on you for offering it here first.

EDIT:
Y'know,... a small square, hardwood scrap and a 3" deck screw and someone here could have a really neat pencil-holder which would double as an investment you wouldn't lose in a parts box or drawer.;)

Ive been threatening to ream it for Schofield/"Short Colts" and run +P+ in it up to like 18-20kpsi for a Rowland type load . Unfortunately this particular cylinder has a fat clutch also so it will have to be turned or scalloped to do that . The up side is that the head space set on the rim on a scallop would cure the short nose bearing in my frame .
