Ol' Buckshot has some descriptive terms for his shop and hobby activity. My favorite--his lathe and milling machine areas are called 'The Wreck Of The Hesperis'.

While on the subject of RC presses, thought you might be interested in the handle I made for mine. I found that I did not need the leverage provided by the big handle with the ball end. So, I made this one. Part of it was driven by my powder measure being right next to the loading press at the time and I did not want to drill more holes in the bench. I later got a clamp-on stand so the issue went away. But, I like this handle so much better that the old one remains in the cabinet.

And Winelover is right. Finish is crinkled.

Have the original RCII I bought in a kit, and awhile back bought an old RC. I prefer RCBS stuff with exception of the Lyman 55 powder measure. Have the same primer catcher as Winelover. Like Snake's handle idea. All three of my presses (also have an old Baer C press (3 stations) given to me by a friend) have #13 Pool balls for handle knobs. Like it MUCH better than original.

On another note regarding RCBS - their customer service is/has always been amazing! Called today. Needed replacement stem for a die caliber they don't even make anymore (38 S&W) and also a complete sizing die stem for a 257 AI die. Dies were bought used. More than willing to pay for parts, but they warrantied everything, including a bag of primer pins. Dies were '72 and '82 dates!

PS: recently sent Redding a sizing die that was placing a ring on the case at the shoulder/case junction. Replaced with a new die no questions asked.

Both cases, talked to support/tech/English! and everything was taken care of no questions. Only thing was I did pay shipping to send the die to Redding - but I'm fine with that.
