In the video, salt is applied. According to the cooking shows, I've watched, that's a big NO-NO. Salt draw out the moisture, something you don't want to do with a mushroom.

Could be edible, could be calvatia cyathiformis. However, I'm not going to find out......they weren't volleyball sized and there was a warning to that effect.
