Yes, I'm aware. Spending more for something that will be used and abused hard doesn't seem like a good plan to me. Riding around in a sweaty pocket won't help the appearance.

I ordered the all black one with night sights. When I told the wife she says "Thanks, why didnt you order yourself one" umm, dear you have the sas model which i bought ya new & you've been carrying for several years now, remember? She says "I know, that's why this one will be mine too, & you should have ordered 2 if you wanted one"

My preferred transfer dealer called with great news.

Fortunately I had a minute to stop by & pick her up. Looks basically new to me.

Night sights nice & bright. No real blemishes or use signs beyond what our brand new one came with. At 465 delivered & transferred I'm a happy camper. Gonna try to get down to the indoor range this eve & giver a work out.

The wife is still laying claim to this one too. I guess I won't complain if she wants to dual wield 938's.

Ian, I dunno.

The slide rails show as new, as does the rest.

No scratches or wear on the rails, just shiny black finish. Everything the new one came with was included, with the factory warranty card.

Went to the range & put 300+ trouble free cast rounds through it, & 7 jax. Shot to point of aim @7yd without issue.

My best guess is PSA called them "range guns" to comply with sig's lowest advertised price policy. Either way I'm happy. Shoulda bought 2.

Very nice Free, always fun blasting CB's....doing it with a new rig makes it that much better.

Is this going to be your EDC?

Definitely part of the rotation. It's not a great range toy type, short bbl, small, light, & low capacity. Kinda made for carry.
So....

I've got her wrapped up for holster forming. Cut out a couple patterns & cased some leather. Going to form them up tonight yet.

Nice guns, but I tried to do a trigger adjustment for a friend. No go, unlike an actual 1911, no room
to set back the preload on the leaf spring on the sear and trigger. But, it was real accurate, even with
a mediocre trigger.

The controls may operate like a 1911, but inside it has very little in common with a 1911.
