If you want to really split hairs, next time you load those eight pieces of brass, try just sizing the part that holds the bullet and keep the same overall length.

Ok, shoulda known that I wasn't going to teach you any new tricks..... You got this.

The best accuracy I have ever gotten is with 452460, although it is only a hair better than
what I can get with H&G 68. About equal with H&G 130, too. I wonder how your rifling
twist compares with the typical 1911 bbl?

I don't know the twist.
A tight patch on my ball bearing cleaning rod will offer an answer to that question.

Online sources say JB designed the 1911 with 1:16 left hand twist.
