Twist rate on Ruger 77 in .22-250

I have an older Ruger 77 tang safety light sportier in .22-250, and I am wondering what the twist rate is.

If I remember they were slow 1-14, I might be thinking of the older Remington 700.

1-14” was the standard 22-250 twist rate when the tang safety Ruger’s were made.

they were all pretty slow back then.
i think my 223 from the early 90's is a 1-12 it certainly has a 55gr cut-off and does 5 times better with 50-52's.
i've tried 60-64's in it and the groups were round, just a lot bigger.

it does fine with cast bullets in the 60gr range even at medium speeds though... surprisingly about as good as 55gr. jacketed.

I have one of those tang safety M77’s
Mine was made in ‘78 if memory serves.
1:14 for sure. Good shooting rifle. Likes everything 40-55gr.
