Which mould?

Yes, the only significant different seems to be the blend from the bottom of the nose to the front band. The
RCBS is very square there, and I missed in on first look with that lighting. Closer look seems to show a
fillet transition.

Might want to consider SAECO #382 150 gr PBSWC. Best shooting light load bullet I've ever tried in a Marlin 94.

I have an early 4 cavity version of this bullet. I have to agree that it is really accurate at lower velocities, my copy seems to get displeased above 38 Spl +P velocities, which is fine with me. I have plenty of higher velocity 38/357 moulds.

SAECO #382 150 gr on left and SAECO #388 160 gr on right. Never did get the 160 to shoot, wouldn't hit a barn if standing inside. #388 here is a BB and I had Erik make it a PB, didn't help or hurt accuracy a bit. Very similar bullets, one shoots great and the other not at all. Go figure.

Were both moulds dropping at the same diameter? I've been comparing the same bullets from RG4 moulds, with the only difference being HP, DP, or Solid. So far the DP's are winning in most all my levers and pistols.

Your flashing may be caused by a warped sprue plate or the sprue hinge screw or where the sprue plate slides into the mold near the handle may be loose. I've had several 6 cavity mold sprue plates warp. Can you see light between the plate and the mold?
