Will Lee make this mold in a six hole

I recently got a Lee two cavity .314" 90 grain tumble lube swc and I like it with my Ruger 32 H&R Mag revolver. But, casting lots of bullets takes a while with a two cavity mold, Did Lee ever make that mold in six cavity? If I ask will they want me to pay for a "custom" mold?

if you ask very nicely, and pay them $$$, I am sure they will. And, agree to buy probably 50 of them...

At which point it would pay to contact one of the custom mould-makers we like so much.

THAT was THE bullet in the few 32s I have had. I had the 2C and donated it to a friend when I got away from the 32s and concentrated on the 35s.

Mine is a 2c. All my 32Ls love it (2x Smiths, and a Colt). The S&W Reg Police circa 1920's, with ugly bore, will shoot it very well, while not found anything else it likes at all.

That one was a favorite of Dad's and he had a bunch cast up. I hate to rely on memory, but pretty sure he had a six cavity mold of it, maybe it wasn't a big seller for lee, it is kind of an unorthodox looking design and as such, might have been overlooked by most.

Honestly, Lee should just make every one of their designs in the six cavity and not bother with the single and double, the six cavity ones are infinitely better molds in my experience and well worth the additional expense.

Again, I have been lightly accused of being a Lee basher, but I will say this; I would likely buy exclusively Lee six cavities if they were in designs I was looking for, especially pistol bullets, I've been that impressd with the ones I've used. Another good thing I'll say about Lee is generally they stick to pretty basic, good designs that work.

There are most definitely things Lee makes or has made which I like very much. I wish them great properity.

I pretty sure the one I have came from a group buy. I have one other LEE group buy mold a 350 225 for the 348 that is a very nice bullet. I don’t know if LEE offer’s the group buy option any more, but…

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.

IIRC the problems associated with running a GB through Lee were legion! I don't know if they still do it, but it was really hit and miss there for a bit. Was I in a lather to get a specific design made these days I'd be going to one of the custom guys rather than Lee.

They did several years ago, sometimes one will pop up on ebay. MP makes a 6-cavity, but it is not a tumble lube design.
