From Mihec molds!!!! A mold I have been wanting has been produced!!!

Yup, Another Mihec!!
I wanted a 4 cav NO GC 359-200RF.
This bullet is a copy of the excellent, RCBS 35/200FP.
I was graciously lent a .358 version of this mold by Tomme boy some tim back. I tried to buy one since returning it to him. I added my name to the want list! As It shot as if made for my Maxis and Legends.

Th mold drops a 196g as HP and 204g as a solid. (Alloy dependent) Somewhere in between for the small HP. That borrowed mold also had a penta HP. This one I ordered does not.

I the new mold is Brass but just 2 cav an has a GC. Beggars cannot be choosers, so 2 cav is on order!! I waited long enough!! Maybe a penta from a different Mold could fit?

Anyhow very happy to add this mold to the inventory!!

It won't be too many years before you'll be really happy it's a two cavity. I love my MP 4 cav brass molds but they get heavier nd heavier every year.
I've taken to 4C aluminum in recent years, and just ordered a 4C 429421 from Arsenal. In aluminum, that phenomenon of "exponential mass increase over time" is still a factor.

After ordering it, I thought a 2C or 3C would have been OK too. I've been using a 1C for that bullet for so long that a 2C would have been just fine.

I think if I were ordering BRASS, I'd go for 2C myself.

I always get behind when I try to hurry anyway.

This is an excellent bullet. I have the GC version myself. Lately, I’ve shot a lot of powder coated PB bullets, and found they more or less offer all I’m looking for in a cast bullet, without the extra work or hassle of making/installing GC.
Now, I see the 4- cav PB available in the web shop.... it’s calling to me!

Glad you finally got one. I have to get some of those clips. I ordered some what mp said they were and they dont fit. Just going to head to the hardware store and try a few out.

I just loaded 10 of these up last week. I looked at the throat in my 350 and it is a little rough. I rolled them in 600gr lapping grit. Then loaded them with 6gr bullseye. I am going to bring the bore scope with me when i do it and check every round to see how it goes
