can see why it is a hand grenade! also agree it would prob a great yote round in a 35! But, I would def opt for a new pin at point C. Was going to suggest second vent line, and exactly where you located C! lol

I got outside this a.m. ( 66 degrees here right now ) and cast with the modified pin 358318.

I've got a little bit of flash on the nose ( I had that before I modified the pin ). The HP cavity fills out well and looks nice. I'm pretty happy with the final outcome.

Looks good Ben. I have 358315? Your 358318 appears to be a bore rider, mine is not. Think I would prefer the 318.

All the people that I've ever talked to about the 358318 say it is super accurate for them.

That bullet was designed for the .35 Winchester many years ago..... I read or someone told me also many years ago that it was very accurate in that caliber in the Winchester Hi-Wall single shot. I think I've wanted a Model 1885 in .35 Winchester ever since! Since .405 Winchester brass came back the cases would be a breeze! I've got a single cavity 358318 too....... somewhere?

On a different note........ That Remington Model 788 .38-55 is not very far away.......
