Pistol or rifle, cast or jacketed? If cast in pistol, I do not think so... just a good wide meplat SWC or OWC.

Just my 2 cents worth.
In handguns, I have both HP molds and WFN molds of the same weight and caliber.
The HP molds would seem to do better as Goblin stoppers, where deep penetration is not needed, while the WFN would seem to be better for hunting and deeper penetration.
As far as accuracy, I've got WFN designs that are super accurate in handguns and I seem to be able to push the WFN a little faster ( probably due to more lead outside the case).
Rifles are a different animal that I have no experience with.

Are you ever wrong for having wants?

I am the last person to question your wants as I wouldn’t want your questioning mine!

My feeling is that if it makes you happy and it isn’t immoral, illegal, or unethical then why not?

when I started casting, I had the desire to have HP molds for each caliber I wanted to load/shoot. I acquired several, but most of them were more challenging to cast with, than non-HP molds. It took a few years, then I finally realized I had no use for HP bullets. So, I decided to sell the molds. I did keep one, a NOE 41 cal Keith HP...but it rarely gets use.

if I counted up all of the HP molds I have owned or wanted to own over the years they would equal the number I have now.
none.

That, coming from a hunter, tells this non-hunter that I haven't missed anything by not having ever owned any hollow point moulds.

I do have some HP ammo - from the factory. No HP moulds, I can buy a few hog razor type if needed. Big meplat seems to work for me.

The few HP molds we had / have seldom got used and near never now. FN does all we need. And if we need some slug to not exit then 40-1 FN should do all we will need.

there are some instances where adding a hollow point could increase the accuracy of the bullet.
I don't think a cylinder with relief cuts is one of them.

What a Debbie Downer. It has nothing to do with accuracy. It is all about the COOL effect.
Any moron can have solid cast bullets but a REAL man carries HP bullets.

I bet you don’t shoot with only 1 glove on.
You don’t wear a plate carrier to the range.
You don’t have a vertical fore grip on your AR.
No extended mag on your Mossberg 500.
