2.5" 686 or GP-100?

I wished had caught on a bit more
Me too. I managed to acquire that one and a 310 Night Guard in 10mm auto before prices went into the stratosphere.

Ric posted a photo of his Scandium J-frame in 32 H&R the other day, and it made the envy level in me go straight to the sky.

I am holding my breath that Ruger will develop a concept based on the LCR but with larger calibers. They seem to throw caution to the wind more than S&W these days with regard to innovative designs or uncommon calibers. We have the Charters and the Taurus big bore snubbies, so there is a market out there (albiet relatively small) for such a gun.

Revolvers are not user friendly for semi auto cartridges
I might have believed that years ago.

But I have too many range trips under my belt with 30 or more preloaded moon clips to shoot in a S&W 625 or that 325. Talk about fun, convenient and reliable. Just dump the moon clip in the cylinder, and chuck it in the bucket when it is spent.

I love my 1911's, but I hate chasing brass in the cow pasture.

Me too. popcorn.gif I have the LCR 357 and it's dimensions are very close to my Fit for Duty Bulldog. The Bulldog fits in my j-frame holsters.

Never ran across any Taurus revolvers, here or in Detroit. Besides, their discontinued 44 lineup still weighs in at more than 30 ounces.

I haven't seen one in the flesh either, just online.

Unfortunately, I bought the LCRX in 38 special. I thought I wanted the external hammer. But the trigger pull on the LCRX was so good that I corrected that error when I bought my 327 mag LCR.

I liked my Charter Arms Bulldog that I owned. I just sold it with the intent of replacing it with an older blued model with the exposed ejector rod. I liked the styling lines better than the one I bought new in 2009 that had the shrouded ejector. Hard to argue with a 44 in the pocket rather than a 38. Though to be completely honest, I don't feel under gunned with my LCR in my pocket with 32 H&R mags in it....

My Bulldog is almost as ugly as an LCR! However, it's light weight, fits in my pocket and doesn't have a exposed hammer to hang up on the draw.

Personally, I don't care for unshrouded ejector rods..............looks or fragility.

Nice gun!

I am currently watching gunbroker for a pre model number S&W Terrier snubby in 38 S&W. Different things, for different folks. It is all good!
