A slotting tool would have been better but an old ground down boring bar worked ok.

Ya know, I've only broken one & rcbs replaced it free.

Not really about the money just like machining and was a good excuse to turn some steel.

I get that. Would do same if the toys to do it lived here. Just sayin' after seeing the work it makes store bought seem cheap. I had to wait for mine to come in mail. Your solution is definitely better.

It's always good to have options. Sometimes stuff is discontinued, or isn't made quite to the specification you would prefer, on it's on intergalactic backorder, and you want it now. So you make it.
