30-40 Krag - 30 Army head stamps

I bought 2 bags of 50 each from ACME a couple of years ago and just opened them. Yes I know it’s range pickup brass. But, 9 different head stamps out of a 100. I’m impressed. I’m sure there’s more verity out there, but…
8 or 9 were cut quite short and one is bulged just a bit. Just thought it was interesting.
I have another 100 Remington once fired but thought I’d get all of the 30-40’s sorted.

At the casting bench in the sky. RIP Bret.
My sole 30-40 supply is ancient Rem that I'd guess is from the 40's or earlier. All marked "30 Army" IIRC.

retired 30-40 Krag rifle specs are all over the map. It's likely that bulged case was shot in a worn/roomy chamber.

>>> edit...looked at it again, a bit closer, yeah, that was shot in somthing else like the 303 as L Ross mentioned

If there is any brass that absolutely must be annealed it's .30-40 Krag. I have had factory ammo split the necks unfired in the box for cryin' out loud!
