oh definitely.

the rifle is super light too, it was built to have a can put on it, and i ended up putting the heaviest muzzle brake on it i could find [yeah it's like having a brake on a 22...LOL]
but i needed the weight, i could see the trigger pull moving the gun over to the side slightly through the scope, and it's below 3 lbs.

I have a lot of IMR 4227 and it works well in the 300BO.16 gr is where I started.

I was wondering what load did you end up with for thw best accuracy? I'm finally fixing to start loading some 160g powder coated Lee C309-160-R.

Thanks

My 4227 load under 145gr GC is 15.7gr, could go some higher. Pretty much an inch @ 50. Cycled OK.

stlg67,
I tried loading down to 14gr of 4227 and worked up to 16 gr. It cycled the rifle and was accurate out to 200 yards. Using a 12 inch steel gong as my target. 16 gr was my end load.

Thanks Jon for the information, I'll be trying these hopefully Tuesday and I'll let you know how they performed.

I've loaded and tested the 160g bullet but was having some feed issues. I have OAL of 1.855 but I'm kinda of guessing. Most fed okay but had a couple jam. I was wondering what someone has had the best luck with on OAL.

I finally tried the bullets and with 160g, 16.2g 4227, they worked great. Using a pistol AR 300 blackout with 10.5" barrel, first shooting at 25yrds, will try maybe 50yrds next. Have two of the blackouts, these were build for home defense.
