Wish I had a multi cavity 311008, but I'm doing OK with my single cav. mould.
My grandson Trevor loves to shoot these with light loads out of the Ruger Stainless Number 1, 30-30 Win.

The target below is 3.8 grs. of Titegroup in the 30-30 Win, with a .310" dia, Lyman 311008 cast bullet, large pistol primers.

Al answered your wishes . . . I have this bullet in a NOE 5 cav aluminum. Just looked and oddly no pictures.

Sept. 10, 2021 Steve left us. You are missed.
I have a two cavity, cast a few, haven't loaded any yet. Think it would be great squirrel medicine in 308 Win.

I just checked NOE's web site ( and have been watching it for 2 months ), no muiti cavity 311008 plain base moulds in stock.

Yes, the Arsenal bullet seems to have less lube capacity. But maybe enough, for the low node?

The #311008 is a "classic" mould design that I really should get an example of. The Lyman-made moulds are definitely skewed toward use in 30 caliber applications, as they seldom cast much over .311". Most of my use for the pattern calls for .314"-.315" as-cast, though--in 32/20 WCF and 32 H&R/327 Federal.

The owner at Arsenal Moulds told me that he would " fine tune " the coordinates so that the mould would cast the diameter I wanted . He would also do the same for you. If you want it to cast .315" , it will.

My NOE version is marked and casts at .311". Which is exactly what I wanted/needed for my 30-30's .310" groove diameter.

DANG--that is pretty reasonable cost for a 4 cav tool. Ben, this will end up costing me money--I can see that already.

the way he cuts the molds making a cavity a few thou. bigger is just 3-4 button pushes away including changing the markings to reflect the change.

My Lyman two cav drops them 312/ish my alloy. I powder coat and size 314 for the 32/20-327

Bullet is better in the 32/20 for me.

Great shooting Tervor!!!
