Some folks like the HP bullets, and I am not among those. I do cast Bruce B Soft Points in a few calibers, and have 30-06, 38/55, and 45/70 loads in the ammo locker (20 of each). Those remain OK to hunt with outside Kalifornistan, and I have been known to range into AZ, NV, and UT in pursuit of varmints and game from time to time.
